Vernon ranked No. 1 in 3A field

The road to a provincial title is officially set.

The Vernon Panthers sit atop the 3A bracket as the No. 1 seed for the 2026 BC School Sports 3A Girls Basketball Provincial Tournament, which runs Feb. 25-28 at Langley Events Centre.

They are joined in the top four by the Langley Christian Lightning, St. Michaels University School Blue Jags (Victoria) and Mark R. Isfeld Ice (Courtenay).

The remainder of the 3A field (alphabetical order): Alberni District Storm (Port Alberni), Crofton House Falcons (Vancouver), Duchess Park Condors (Prince George), Little Flower Academy Angels (Vancouver), Mount Baker Wild (Cranbrook), Pitt Meadows Marauders, R.A. McMath Wildcats (Richmond), Sa-Hali Sabres (Kamloops), Sir Charles Tupper Tigers (Vancouver), Steveston-London Sharks (Richmond), Valleyview Vikes (Kamloops), and Yale Lions (Abbotsford).
