Vancouver Island sees three teams make final 8 quarter-final round

Day 1 is complete at the BC School Sports Boys Basketball Provincial Championships.
A total of 64 teams — competing across four tiered tournaments — tipped off four straight days of wall-to-wall action at Langley Events Centre.
The tournament resumes Thursday with the quarterfinal round, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets are available for purchase and every game of all four championships is also available to stream through pay-per-view at TFSETV.ca. Daily schedules, scores and news can also be found at www.bchighschoolbasketballchampionships.com.
3A Tournament
All three Vancouver Island teams are through to the final eight quarter-final round following day 1 of the BC School Sports 3A Boys Basketball Provincial Tournament at Langley Events Centre. The opening round saw seven of the top eight teams advance.
3:30pm – Lambrick Park Lions (#4) vs. Argyle Pipers (#5)
5:15pm – St. Patrick Celtics (#1) vs. Edward Milne Wolverines (#9)
7:00pm – L.A. Matheson Mustangs (#2) vs. Brentwood College (#7)
8:45pm – M.E.I. Eagles (#3) vs. Enver Creek Cougars (#6)
All four games will be played on Centre Court.
