Notre Dame earns top seed for 2A Tournament

The path to provincial glory is locked in.
The St. John’s School Eagles (1A), Notre Dame Jugglers (2A), St. Patrick Celtics (3A) and Dover Bay Dolphins (4A) enter the 2026 BC School Sports Boys Basketball Provincial Championships as the No. 1 seeds in their respective tiers.
The first three teams are all Vancouver schools while Dover Bay is in Nanaimo.
The official draws were released today (March 1) for the four-day championship tournament set for March 4-7 at Langley Events Centre. The event will showcase 64 teams, 128 games and four provincial champions crowned across the 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A divisions.
2A Tournament
There will be a new champion in the 2A Tournament with the 2025 winner failing to qualify for this year’s field. And Vancouver’s Notre Dame Jugglers earned the top seed among the 16 teams. Two of the Jugglers’ Vancouver Sea-to-Sky Zone rivals join in the top four with West Vancouver’s Collingwood Cavaliers checking in at No. 2 and the King George Dragons (Vancouver) at No. 4. Surrey’s Southridge Storm are the third seed.
The rest of the field includes (in alphabetical order): Cariboo Hill Chargers (Burnaby), Charles Hays Rainmakers (Prince Rupert), Fernie Falcons, Kalamalka Lakers (Coldstream), Langley Christian Lightning (Township of Langley), L.V. Rogers Grizzlies (Nelson), Nechako Valley Vikings (Vanderhoof), Pacific Christian Pacers (Victoria), St. Michaels University School Blue Jags (Victoria), Summerland Rockets, Surrey Christian Falcons and Westsyde Whundas (Kamloops).
