Championship Saturday is set at Langley Events Centre.
With three days in the books at the BC School Sports Girls Basketball Provincial Championships, eight teams remain in the hunt for provincial glory in their respective tiers as the four-day, 64-team, 128-game championships gets set for its conclusion.
All four finals will be played on the Ken Winslade Court in the Arena Bowl on Saturday (February 28).
1A: Acwsalcta Thunder vs. Cedars Christian – 1:00pm
2A: Holy Cross Crusaders vs. St. Thomas More Collegiate – 3:15pm
3A: Vernon vs. Langley Christian – 5:30pm
4A: Argyle vs. Riverside – 7:45pm
The Holy Cross Crusaders will take on the St. Thomas More Collegiate Knights in the championship game of the BC School Sports 2A Girls Basketball Provincial Tournament.

St. Thomas More Collegiate Knights (#3, Burnaby) 78 Credo Christian Kodiaks (#2 Township) 74
The St. Thomas More Collegiate Knights came out firing, knocking down five three-pointers in the opening 10 minutes and draining 13 from beyond the arc overall to build a commanding 23-point lead in the first half. That cushion proved just enough to withstand a furious rally from the Credo Christian Kodiaks.
The Kodiaks battled all the way back to within two points late, but the early deficit was too much to erase as the Knights held on for a 78-74 victory.
Demicah Arnaldo paced St. Thomas More with 20 points and five assists, while Mia Beliveau added 18 and Mackenzie Pagtakhan chipped in 15. Credo Christian countered with a big three of its own, as Kenzie Rapp poured in 25 points, Hailey Stam had 22, and Kallie Breukelman finished with 19 in the narrow loss.

Holy Cross Crusaders (#1, Surrey) 85 Westsyde Whundas (#13, Kamloops) 52
The tournament’s top seed is headed to the championship final after bringing an end to the Westsyde Whundas’ Cinderella run. The 13th-seeded Whundas had captured back-to-back upset victories in the opening rounds, but their bid for another surprise was halted in the semifinals by the top-ranked Holy Cross Crusaders.
Isla Iannuzzi led the way for Holy Cross with 22 points, while Solene Jackson recorded a strong double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Meena Litt paced Westsyde with 24 points, and Ryen Scott added 18 in the semi-final defeat.
