The Terry Fox Ravens and St. Patrick Celtics tip off during the 2024 Junior Boys Basketball Invitational Tournament championship game at Langley Events Centre.
North Vancouver’s Argyle Pipers are the top seed for this week’s 55th annual Junior Boys Basketball Invitational Tournament.
While the Pipers are ranked No. 1, they are joined in the top four by the No. 2 St. Patrick Celtics (Vancouver), the third-seed Terry Fox Ravens (Port Coquitlam) and the No. 4 Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers (Surrey).
The Ravens enter as the defending champions after defeating the Celtics in last February’s gold-medal game.
There are 32 teams competing over the four days with all 80 games being played at Langley Events Centre. Each team plays twice on the opening day (February 22) with the championship final set for February 25 (7:00pm). The opening game gets underway on Saturday at 8:30am.
