Day one saw just two upsets on the opening day of the BC School Sports Girls Basketball Provincial Championships.
All 64 teams across the four tiers tipped off for their first-round games at Langley Events Centre.
In the 3A Tournament, it was R.A. McMath Wildcats – the #9 seed – defeating the eighth-seed Little Flower Academy Angels while in the 4A draw, the #10 Kelowna Owls won over the #7 Charles Best Blue Devils.
Day 2 (Thursday, February 27) will see each team play their second games, including the quarter-final round.
