TOP 2 IN THE JUNIOR GIRLS FINAL

Township of Langley, BC (Friday, March 3, 2017) The 2017 Telus Junior Girls Provincial Basketball Invitational Tournament now heads into the Championship Final with Day Three featuring the top seeds against the two bottom seeds.

The first game of the championship bracket was #1 Kelowna taking on #13 Lord Tweedsmuir. The second game featured #2 St.Thomas Aquinas against #14 Robert Bateman.

“It is great, our girls have been working hard all season and all tournament long so far and we are super excited to regroup and refocus on the next game,” said Kelowna Owl’s Head Coach Kim Przybyl. “It is crazy to think that tomorrow’s final is our last game, but we are looking forward to it for sure.”

The Championship Final begins tomorrow when #1 Kelowna takes on ­­­#2 St. Thomas Aquinas at 2:45pm inside Centre Court in the Langley Events Centre. If you are unable to attend the game you can watch it live here.
