ST. THOMAS AQUINAS ARE PROVINCIAL CHAMPS

 

Township of Langley, BC (Saturday, March 4, 2017) The 2017 Telus Junior Girls Provincial Basketball Invitational Tournament headed into its final day.

The championship final saw the top two seeds of the tournament face off. #1 Kelowna took on #2 St.Thomas Aquinas and it was the second ranked team that came out with the  49-27 victory.

St. Thomas Aquinas were led by Jessica Clarke who was their player of the game. While Kelowna’s player of the game was Jaeli Ibbetson.

First Team All-Star :

Emma Bradshaw –  Seycove
India Aikins – Lord Tweedsmuir
Jaeli Ibbetson –  Kelowna
Rebecca Clarke – St. Thomas Aquinas
Olivia Thorpe – St. Thomas Aquinas
