FINAL FOUR FOR THE JUNIOR GIRLS

Township of Langley, BC (March 2, 2017) The Elite Eight of the 2017 Telus Junior Girls Provincial Basketball Invitational Tournament turned into the Final Four.    

Top teams #1 Kelowna, and #2 St. Thomas Aquinas advanced, as did surprise entrants #13 Lord Tweedsmuir and #14 Robert Bateman.

It was a good win, we got into some foul trouble early but our bench really stepped up and filled in the gap,” said Kelowna Owl’s Head Coach Kim Przybyl. “We started off a little slow with every game we are progressively getting better. The next thing to do is to regroup, get prepared to play……..

On Friday, Kelowna takes on Lord Tweedsmuir at 6:30pm while St. Thomas Aquinas plays Robert Bateman at 8:00pm. Both games take place inside the Langley Event Centre’s Fieldhouse.
