AAA GIRLS TOP 8 SEEDS MOVE ON

Township of Langley, BC (February 25, 2017) The 2017 BC Secondary School AAA Girls Championship held 8 games on opening day.

All eight of the top seeds were victorious and will move on in the winner’s bracket of the tournament.

“It was a terrific opening day but really when you look at it you can’t say there was a major upset in the Senior Varsity AAA group,” said Howard Tsumura. “Even though some people say they want to see some upsets, tomorrow is set to be a very competitive draw, although we didn’t see a Cinderella story today, I think we will see great entertainment tomorrow!”
